Neer More | Butter Milk




 Ingredients


Curd
1 1/2 cups
Water
2 Cups
Coriander Leaves
2 Tbsp
Curry Leaves
1 Sprig
Ginger
a small piece
Green Chilli
2
Asafoetida
Generous Pinch
Salt
As needed
Lemon juice
1 Tsp
Oil
1 Tsp
Mustard
1/2 Tsp


Method

1. Grind coriander leaves, Curry leaves, Ginger, Chilli.

2. Beat the curd thoroughly and add water, grounded paste, salt, Asafoetida and lemon to it.

3. Heat oil and the add mustard. Once mustard starts popping add to curd.
Notes:
  • Change the number of chillis according to your taste buds.
  • Instead of grinding you can add the ingredients as such by chopping them finely. Since i grounded them, the buttermilk was slightly green.
  • Lemon Juice is also optional.
